Well, the folks over at Pixily.com were kind enough to send me a trial of their service (I mentioned it in my November 24 post). I just enrolled in the service and will report back on it in the New Year. I have to admit, I’m pretty jazzed about filling an envelope (which is both water-resistant and recyclable) with 50 sheets at a time and having someone else upload and organize them all. For home-based workers this could really be a time saver! Think of all the receipts you scan on your flatbed–tedious.
The company is also promoting a Quick Start offer (expires 12/31/08) for individuals if anyone is interested in trying out the service –it’s priced at $14.95/month and allows users to send in 100 sheets per month during the first two months of service rather than the 50 allowed under the plan.
As a note, I in no way endorse or promote Pixily and it’s services. It may, however, be an interesting and effective business resource. More details to follow after my first month of service…
